to start producing knowledge you need to reach -1T delusion if that is still not clear, then try therapy or hypnosis and if that is still not enough then use Ascension on Therapy and Hypnosis - that will give you enough negative delusion generation to reach -1T delusion which will trigger knowledge generation

For sake of sanity, you may opt into buying a "Long Bow" from the market for the sake of beating the Fire Golem mob who can feel really bad to fight, but really rewarding to win against. Be warned that "Longbow" requires level 25 archery to equip it.
